A news item on the internet states that the divorce between Minnesota businessman Denny Hecker and his wife Tamitha Dawn has been finalized. The decision for dissolution of marriage has come after a long divorce battle. However, if the couples decide, there is no need to go through prolonged legal proceedings to get divorce. Couples can solve their divorce disputes without going to court by signing a separation agreement, drafted with the approval of both husband and wife.

Things change as time changes. Many centuries have passed by and family values have started to vanish from people’s lives. This is happening even in ultra-conservative societies like those of India and China. People have now started to go for an uncontested divorce in order to save money and efforts. But is it really good to choose this method over conventional procedures?

Surfing the one of the social book-marking sites, I came across a news item that describes the views of Parliamentary Social Committee on divorce. The articles states that a MP has pointed out that the children are badly affected by the conflicts within the family. They have to suffer much more than the children of divorced parents. Many parents are going to get divorced in Canada mainly because they do not want to have continuous quarrels and endless arguments in front of their children.

A news article that I read online made me realize the fact that sometimes people can celebrate their divorce. To them, divorce is end of a phase and beginning of a new one in their life. It gives them hope and dreams for a better future. I think, many people who are getting divorced in Canada have the same attitude towards divorce.

One thing that many professionals miserably fail in doing is separating their personal life from their professional life. Their performance in the professional front affects their personal life very much. It is too much for a boss to expect his/her subordinate to be at the zenith of his/her performance if the latter had recently signed his/her divorce papers.
